I
had the pleasure of throwing a baby shower for Tiersha Whitmore. It was her
first baby and they were expecting a girl! The shower was a brunch held at the
mom-to-be’s home and the inspiration behind my decorations was whimsically
pink. I used burlap with the pink for a vintage texture then fresh roses,
striped straws, pink books and mason jars to add a whimsical touch to the
party. It was also fun for the guests to get a look at what Tiersha and her husband
looked like when they were babies. I had so much fun planning this party and
seeing how happy she was when all of her friends and family came to be with
her.
I thought I would leave you with a little tip! At this baby shower the sister of the mom-to-be said that we should supply envelops and have the guests write their name and address on them so that thank you notes are super easy for the guest of honor.
